I loved the overall feeling of the dual joysticks, but no matter the configuration I was short an axis that I would then have to cram someplace awkward (like twist, rudders, etc). So far the Orb Weaver setup gives me the best overall experience. I have also used a Saitek x52 HOTAS, dual Thrustmaster 16000m, dual Thrustmaster 16000m with x52 throttle, as well as variations including Saitek rudder pedals. This doesn't magically make it an analog device, but it has the benefit of allowing you to assign the Orbweaver axes in within E:D instead of each individual keybind. The Orb Weaver emulates a 6 axis, 28(?) button joystick. I've tried several different configurations, and right now I'm pairing a Razer Orbweaver with a Thrustmaster 16000m.
